Ingredients:
1 whole chicken (giblets removed)
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 ½ tsp red chili powder
1 ½ tsp crushed black pepper
1 ½ tsp all spice powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp roasted crushed coriander
1 tsp salt
3-4 tbsp Tikka Masala
3-4 tbsp Tikka Masala
200 grams yogurt
20 - 40 grams butter (room temperature)
Butter/Oil for roasting
Butter/Oil for roasting
Directions:
- Oil/butter the baking tray.
- Mix all the spices and pastes in yogurt. Mix it well. Now apply the mixture on the chicken making sure it covers it all. Pre-heat the oven at 250 D Centigrade.
- Place the chicken in the tray and roast for at leat 35-40 minutes or when the chicken is well done. Serve with fries.
*Chopped potatoes, carrots, peas and onions can also be roasted with the chicken.
*The chicken can also be steam roasted by wrapping it in aluminum foil and then put in the oven.
*The chicken can also be deep-fried or just steamed (the cooking time will vary)
